Hey there!

So you either purposefully clicked on my blog, stumbled upon it, or just completely oblivious to where and what you are doing. Same, same. Different but same. However you got here I’m thrilled you are and hopefully I can keep you entertained for longer than the average 3 seconds our attention span lasts these days!

Here on my corner of the internet,

You will find my materialistic loves, such as fashion, home interior, beauty, and travel advice. What makes me different than other blogs is my focus on the intangible items I value most. Such as confidence, being genuine, embracing the unknown, being okay with imperfect, and the moments you hop on the hot mess express. Our exteriors can be picture perfect, the best, or the most expensive but being happy with yourself is still more valuable than anything you can touch. I’m not a pro at this (AT ALL) and don’t claim to be. If anything, I am the most critical person of myself. My goal is to be transparent with those issues we all face. Somehow we have learned that by admitting these struggling moments, we are somehow showing we aren’t strong and worthy or being envied. (Which is the point a lot of people post stuff on social media right? Look what I have? How happy I am? How many friends I have?) Everyone has moments of being truly happy and everyone has the lows. I wish for you to be able to come here and see someone embrace and talk through those moments candidly. Even if just one person can relate, that gives me my purpose of why I am working so hard on this. Mentally, it takes a lot to be so vulnerable and self-aware. But then putting it out there in the world for everyone to see and comment, or have an opinion on is a totally different story. But I know my purpose is bigger than opinions, but what I wish I could have read when I was going through it.

Not What You’re Used To

This is what my blog was missing when I first started and what I wish were on the blogs I read. Tell me fashion and the struggle! It’s human. I’ve always tried to do what has already been “proven” to be the right way to do a successful blog. Much like most of my life, it’s like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I couldn’t make myself be perfect and getting mad at myself for it was just exhausting! More than anything humans just want to relate, and we can only take looking at fantasy for so long until we feel bad about ourselves. So what I will be focusing on the most is to relate. By putting myself out there with my own experiences and hoping to encourage others to walk with more confidence and owning exactly what you have to offer the world. That’s what you will find here.
